SSC result and Equivalent exam result published on 31 May 2020

SSC Result – This Evening Education Ministry said that School Secondary Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations result will be published on 31 May 2020. In a statement Education Ministry public relations officer Mohammad Abul Khair told that Prime Minister Shaikh Hasina will officially announce the report through video conference at 10.00 am on 31 May 2020.

In Bangladesh it will happen the first time, the result of SSC and Equivalent exam will reach to examinees or their guardians by mobile phone through. Education Boards have been started pre-registration of the candidates through SMS and the pre-registration will continue till 24 hours before publishing the results. Authorities have taken initiatives against the backdrop of the coronavirus.

Monjurul Kabir, senior system analyst at Dhaka Education Board said “this is for the first time that we are pre-registering candidates and will send their result to their mobile phones. Pre-registering will continue before publishing the result, to know the SSC Result 2020 and Equivalent exam results you should send an SMS to 16222 with the text SSC/Dakhil<space>Board<space>Roll<space>Year.

Prof Ziaul Haque chairman of Dhaka education board also the head of the inter-board coordination committee said that this year students will not be able to collect their results from educational institutes.

The Government closed all educational institutions from 17 to 31 March. Then the shutdown extended till May 31. Later Prime minister announced if the situation will not under control the extension extend till September.

The government has planned to publish the results on May 7 or 8, but could not publish it due to difficulties.  From the last eight years the government has published the result within sixty days after finishing the exam but this year breakdown the record.

SSC and Equivalent examinations began on February 3 theoretical exams ended on February 27 and practically ended on 6 March.

A total of 20,47,779 students have taken part in the SSC and equivalent examinations and it held at 3512 centers. Monjurul Kabir said that like previous year’s results also will be available on the education board website.
