HSC and Equivalent Pass Rate Declared: 78.64%
The pass rate for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams in 2023 has been announced as 78.64%. This figure marks a notable change from the previous year’s pass rate of 85.95% for the SSC and equivalent exams.
The results were officially presented to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday. Later in the day, Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni is scheduled to hold a press conference to provide detailed information about the results.
It has been reported that around 13.59 lakh students registered for this year’s HSC and equivalent exams. The exams, which started on August 17, continued until mid-October. The education boards have informed us that students will receive their results at 11 AM.
To access their results online, students need to visit the website www.educationboardresults.gov.bd. By clicking on the results option and entering their roll and registration numbers, students can view their result sheets.
Institution-based result sheets can be downloaded from the Dhaka Board’s website (www.dhakaeducationboard.gov.bd) by entering the institution’s EIIN.
Students can also receive their results via SMS. To do this, they need to send a message in the following format: type HSC, give a space, write the first three letters of the board’s name, another space, then the roll number, another space, and finally the passing year.
This message should be sent to 16222. For example, a Dhaka board student would type “HSC DHA 123456 2023” and send it to 16222. The result will be sent back immediately via return SMS.
This announcement is an important moment for students, parents, and educators alike, as it not only reflects the academic achievements of the students but also sets the stage for their future educational and career endeavors.
