Pros

It’s slightly smaller and 50g lighter compared to it’s predecessor; Mark III version. The body of the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV is made from magnesium alloy making it very durable compared to other plastic digital cameras. It is not affected by moisture or dust thanks to the weather-proofing feature.The dust-removal technology makes it easy to get rid of dust particles when shaken briefly.The visible dust can be automatically deleted using the dust delete data system.The camera is designed such a way that it can be used by all people irrespective of their size of hands due to a well textured thumb rest area. The touch screen supports a number of multi-touch gestures which includes; change of settings, selection of auto-focus points, setting to live view mode, swiping etc. Further, one takes the shot by pressing on the screen making it easy to capture moments. The rear 3.2-inch color LCD display and the status panel on top enables the user to comfortably use the camera. In addition, the LCD gives clear and sharp photos. The camera gives two photo modes; semi-automatic and manual shooting modes. There is also an auto shooting mode which is very useful to beginners due to it’s automatic setting.

Cons

First, the Dual Pixel Raw function makes the camera slow. Further, it does not give many benefits to the user. Secondly, the HDMI output offers only 1080p which is quite low. Thirdly, the Cropped 4K videos are quite large making the internal memory get used very fast. In as much as most of its features look like the one of the predecessor, it’s more expensive. The battery life is minimized when the GPS is turned on and the camera has been turned off. The dual Pixel image tends to be larger than standard images and slows down once you capture a few images.

However, all these challenges can be overcome since the benefits outweigh them.

Connectivity (GPS and WIFI)

It’s quite useful for landscapers where one can establish the location you captured the image due to the GPS system. Once the GPS is enabled, it gives the metadata of your location when capturing images. In addition, the WIFI enables the user to transfer images and videos to a Smartphone or a computer with ease. Performance
